The Science of God: Self Portrait

The Science of God is a name that I came up with for this particular style of painting.  I am in love with association and symbolism.   I stumbled upon this part of my brain after being asked by an acquaintance to come up with a concept for a painting they could hang in a foyer with a piano.  I realized that the concept I came up with had been inspired by Geometry and shape which could be even more inspirational.  The colors I chose for this painting were based on myself and my love for Crayola markers as a young child.  I contacted Crayola for their marker color names from the early 90s so that I could better visualize and remember the colors.  Grab a print or even the original and check out my catalogue entry on this piece!
